What is Tribute?
Tribute is a platform to create digital memorials that celebrate and preserve memories of loved ones. It brings together life stories, photos, albums, and guest messages in one place.Do I need an account to view a Tribute?
No. Anyone with the link can view a public Tribute. For private Tributes, a passcode is required.Can I access Tributes on mobile?
Yes. Tribute is optimized for all modern browsers on desktop, tablet, and mobile devices.What browsers are supported?
Chrome, Safari, Firefox, and Edge. Internet Explorer is not supported.Who can see my Tribute?
You choose visibility: make it Public (anyone with the link) or Private (accessible only with a passcode).How do private Tributes work?
When a Tribute is private, visitors must enter a passcode before they can view the content.What if I forget the passcode?
Only the Tribute owner can reset the passcode. Contact them directly to regain access.Can I change a Tribute from public to private later?
Yes. Owners can update visibility and passcodes at any time.Can people leave messages without an account?
Yes. Visitors can write messages with their name or post anonymously.Do messages appear instantly?
No. All messages are submitted for review. Owners and moderators must approve them before they appear.Can I remove inappropriate messages?
Yes. Owners and moderators can delete or reject any submitted message.How long can a message be?
Messages can be up to 1000 characters.Can I see who posted anonymously?
No. Anonymous posts do not show identifying information.What media can I upload?
You can upload photos (JPEG, PNG, HEIC) and videos (MP4/MOV). You can also add captions and organize them into albums.Can I reorder album items?
Yes. Uploaded items support order indexes so you can rearrange them.Is there a limit on the number of albums?
There is no strict limit, but for best performance we recommend keeping albums organized and splitting large collections.What happens if an upload fails?
You can retry the upload. If the file type or size is unsupported, the system will display an error.Can I update or replace an avatar portrait?
Yes. Owners can change the portrait at any time. It will update automatically across the Tribute.What is the Life Journey feature?
Life Journey lets you add milestones like birth, graduation, marriage, and achievements with dates and descriptions.Can I edit or reorder Life Journey events?
Yes. You can update details and use the order index to adjust their position on the timeline.Can Life Journey events include photos?
At the moment, events support text and dates. You can add related photos in albums.What downloads are available?
Tributes support QR Cards, Memory Books, and Guest Books (as PDF files).How do QR Cards work?
QR Cards generate a printable PNG with the Tribute’s QR code and portrait for programs, posters, or keepsakes.Why is the portrait missing in my QR Card?
Ensure a portrait image is uploaded. If the image is from an external site, re-upload it directly into Tribute.What is a Memory Book?
A Memory Book is a formatted PDF export of shared stories, photos, and milestones.What is a Guest Book?
A Guest Book is a PDF export of all approved guest messages.What are Anniversary Reminders?
You can subscribe to receive an email or SMS reminder on the anniversary of a loved one’s passing.What phone numbers are supported?
Currently, only valid Kenyan numbers are supported (format: +2547xxxxxxxx).Can I subscribe to multiple Tributes?
Yes. You can sign up for reminders on as many Tributes as you wish.Can I unsubscribe from reminders?
Yes. Each reminder email or SMS includes an unsubscribe link.How long is Tribute data stored?
Tribute files and messages are kept as long as the Tribute remains active. We recommend keeping personal backups.Is my data secure?
Yes. All data is stored securely and private Tributes require passcodes for access.How do I contact support?
